Sharon's St. Valentines Day

14th century poet, Geoffrey Chaucer is credited with the reinvention of St Valentine into current romantic lore.
Sharon swoons as she reads the tales of Chaucer from her balcony,
"shewe forth thyn ers, and lat the frere se
Right so as bees out swarmen from an hyve,
Out of the develes ers ther gonne dryve
"
Old Middle English looking a lot like modern American typo.

it's refreshing to see on St Valentine day that "swarmin from thine shive" is preferred to a box of chocolates..
